How are my chances looking for admission next year?

Asian Male from Out of state

GPA: 4.2 W , 3.6 UW
ACT Composite: 28
ACT Math: 33
APs to be taken in May: US History, Government & Politics
Cumulative Coursework: Very challenging
Major: Industrial Engineering

Senior Schedule:
AP Calc
AP Lit
AP Euro
AP Physics C
Accounting I

ECs:
Jazz Band (All four years)
Youth Group (Outside of school, five years running)
Library Volunteer (60 Hours, outside of school for two years)
Math Club (two years)

You’re in the bottom quartile in both GPA and ACT and your ECs are pretty weak. You’re a reach.

I had lower weighted and higher unweighted, 30 composite ACT and 31 math. My APs last year were AP US History, and AP lang and this year my schedule is AP CALC AB, Physics, AP Euro, AP Macro, English, and Psychology. ECs were youth group all high school, beta 4yrs, NHS 2yrs, spanish club 1yr, FBLA 1yr, and soccer all 4 years. I did apply the earliest deadline but never the less I was accepted.

How about now with a 32 act?

Shouldn’t be a problem with a 32 ACT and 3.6 U/W GPA. You’ve got a good shot at early admission, but either way, you’re a match for the school.
