What do you guys think about my chances? Should I bother applying?

You have a good upward trend in your grades, and rigorous classes, so, even though your gpa is below average for U of M, I think it still looks like you are a hard worker. Great EC’s and ACT score, but based on decisions from EA last night, I don’t want to give you a definitive answer, because everything is so unsure. I really thought I would get in, and everyone on CC told me that I most likely would, so I was crushed when I got deferred and people with lower gpa’s, fewer extracurriculars and who were out of state like me got in. You look like a great candidate, but, again, I can’t genuinely say I know what the admissions offices are looking for this year. If I had to pick, you’d be in though! Good luck! I’ll pray for a positive decision for both of us! :)
