How are my EC's looking?

<p>I am aiming for a college that's big on math and science - namely MIT, but I'm all over the board.</p>

<p>I'm a sophomore, but here are the EC's I have so far:</p>

<p>Unrelated to math/science:</p>

<p>Gay-Straight Alliance
Digital Storytelling Workshop
YTF (Youth Task Force - a program with the Dept. of Public Health that makes policy changes as far as youth care goes)
No More Funerals (violence prevention)
TILT Filmmaking Workshop
SAT Prep Courses
Tutoring (I tutored students in math and English)
Apprenticeship at auto-mechanics shop</p>

<p>Related to math/science:</p>

<p>Math Circle
Math/physics club (I am the founder)
Robotics Team
Astronomy Team
Volunteer work & paid internship at Chabot Space & Science Center
Internship at Academy of Sciences
Calculus Classes (at ATDP program at UC Berekely)
iD Tech C++ Programming course</p>

<p>I'm only a sophomore, mind you. What else could I add that would be strong?</p>

<p>Some look pretty cool! I would focus more on EC’s that would portray you interests. I didn’t know SAT Prep counts as an EC.</p>

<p>definitely add some leadership roles, but you are on the right track. those are some solid EC’s!</p>
