<p>@ Salve. Agreed. I should add, many other students that want to go and end up at good colleges aren’t very proactive regarding like building a “wow” resume. That MIT page certainly showed that, as many admits seemed like just your normal high school student- certainly not that ISEF girl. And that’s MIT! I’m sure like at more laidback schools like Brown or Rice there are even more students who just did what they wanted to do, without factoring in college admissions into their activities. So yeah. </p>
<p>OP: My previous post might have been interpreted as sarcastic (now that I read it again). It’s not. I actually would prefer you do that then go out and stress your *** off for something you may not be passionate about. Just enjoy the last couple years of HS while you still can.</p>
