@ Salve. Agreed. I should add, many other students that want to go and end up at good colleges aren’t very proactive regarding like building a “wow” resume. That MIT page certainly showed that, as many admits seemed like just your normal high school student- certainly not that ISEF girl. And that’s MIT! I’m sure like at more laidback schools like Brown or Rice there are even more students who just did what they wanted to do, without factoring in college admissions into their activities. So yeah.

<p>Exactly! Just because someone is not valedictorian or in a million clubs or published some science paper, it doesn’t mean that they can’t get into a good school like MIT.</p>
