How are my odds for these schools?

<p>Schools: UCB, UCLA, UCSD (TAG), UCD, Cal Poly Pomona
Major: Political Science (everywhere)
GPA: 3.75 [Upward trend, 3.78 if I get A's this semester]
Units completed: 61 (8 more in progress)
Black spots: B in speech, C in Bio (both from my first semester), B in one Major (Honors) class (got A's in the other 4 major classes).
IGETC + Major prep + Scholars program (TAP) all finished as of spring 2012
No Ws or retakes, enrolled in every full time every semester since I started in 2010
Activities and awards: A.S. commissioner for two semesters, worked on friends city council campaign, founding member of local republicans club, worked 25-40 hours every semester, PTK member, volunteer production assistant beginning in August, pseudo-babysitter at times for my little brother starting right before i enrolled in SMC
Essays: 8/10. </p>

<p>I briefly noted in my personal statement how I had to make adjustments for college academics because I was too used to homeschooling flexibility. I feel that the B in a polisci class is going to hurt me for ucb/ucla and shocked when i received it. Do you guys still think I have a shot?</p>

<p>Any feedback? ._.</p>

<p>UCB and UCLA are going to be tricky. I’ll assume one of them at least will accept you, if not both. You’re in at the other schools. Good job!
Fellow political science major here and your apps kick my ass, lol! (3.5 GPA, wishing for UCSD o____O)</p>

<p>Did you TAG?</p>

<p>Did you complete ALL pre-reqs for Poli Sci at UCLA? If you completed all and got great grades in those courses then good odds.</p>

<p>Yes, I did everything required at SMC, to transfer, if that’s what you were asking. I just got a B in my polisci 2 scholars class. A’s in the rest</p>
