<p>I'm reading all these chance threads and people have 50+ things to list under their EC category sometimes. But most things are things like awards and being on national honor lists and things like that. Are these really considered extra curricular? You don't really have to do anything to be on the honor list for example other than doing good in the school which is already on your application as the classes you took and grades you got.</p>
<p>college apps have room for extra stuff and whatever. my high school suggests that we just attach a separate piece of paper, a "resume" so that we can list it as we see fit. on my own resume, i have categories--academic awards, volunteer work, sports, other--so that they're categorized. they might not be all extracurricular--but they're all extra. if that helped at all.</p>
<p>Hmm...on my resume I have them under "Awards". I can't see any college considering them as ECs despite where you file them =)</p>
