I've read a few horror stories about forced triples and quads on CC. I just paid my deposit, how are the dorms? How likely is it that I end up in a bad situation like that?

Any input from current students or parents of students is appreciated :D

Villanova always has forced triples due to lack of dorm space. They triple those with the latest deposits and go backwards until everyone is placed in a dorm. All the EA people are fine because they get their deposits in early. Last year when my D was a freshman she sent in her deposit around the first week in April and was in a forced triple. It was a horror story mainly because it is tough for three girls to live in a small room. Her male friends in triples has less problems because the boys don't have as much drama.

Hmmm... I was admitted EA but I only paid my deposit last night. I hope that I don't end up in a forced triple :(

EDIT (from here):
"Students were assigned to triples in reverse date of deposit order. Generally, students whose deposits were received in mid to late April, close to the Admissions deadline of May 1st, have been assigned to triple rooms."

I hope that is the case!
