How are the girls?

:rolleyes:Indeed I did. It was a planted seed just for you, sir.

oh yah emm! i totally forgot about our running count of male visitors to our room… ;)

looks like TB54 has something to prove

TB54 just FYI I see haters of haters at the gym A LOT. Sometimes I go twice a day, once cardio, once weights, and I see him there BOTH TIMES. 80% of the time I see him there, he is on the treadmill.

Yes Haters, I SEE YOU, be freaked out.

i only go once a day dude. i really dont got the time to go twice a day, lol

i usually try to divide my time between weights and treadmill

TB54,

i dont recall i said all engineers are nerdy and skinny, if i did, i apologize

and i am willing to my money where my mouth is…on weights:

i can curl 100, bench 215, squat 450, max out both the machines on quads, hamstring, and deltoid

i rep at 90 lb curl, 190 bench, 400 squat, max leg press, max deltoid, 60 lbs on triceps dumbell lift

if you can beat these numbers, congrats, if you cant keep your mouth shut

mrMOO,

wanna be gym buddies?

deuces, sorry if i offended you, the real men part was sarcasm

fisico…probably not, lol

Let’s just say I’m one who comes prepared.

Could flaunt egos all day but I’ve got better things to do.

In my opinion:
I would switch out leg presses for front squats. Leg extension/leg curls, anybody can max

Ditch the tricep dumbell lift, go with EZ-Bar skullcrushers and weighted dips/triceps pulldown.

Where’s the back work? Add in some barbell bent over rows/T-Bar rows/weighted pull ups and add in deadlifts.

TB54

Edit: If your curl section is calculated 1RM and your rep is your 1+ RM, try again. When they say you can deadlift 350 or bench 200 and the calculated says way more than that, try again, you’ll find that plateauing happens much commonly at higher weights.

where is RJK in this thread? don’t tell me you don’t play a sport on scholarship… btw i have yet to see a full scholarship athlete on this forum…

i forgot about the back

i do barbell bent over rows

i know for a fact that i max out at those weights because i have been able to lift them before

also time is a factor too

wut would be a good routine in 30 minutes

i try to wrap up my activities in 1 hr and half

No on the sports part. I train for Ironman Triathlon and American Gladiators. LAFit Expo (this weekend) was having auditions for American Gladiators. Let’s just say I’m one of the few engineers who wants to be on American Gladiators. A lot of ChemEs would paint their face red and blue in support of me being on AG.

I’m not an olympic lifter so I can’t comment on snatch/cleans.

TB54

here is my current routine:

chest/biceps
shoulders/legs
triceps/back

and then treadmill runs everyday

I’ve seen you around. You call that running?

chest/bi’s and back/tri’s?

I think you may be doing it wrong…

Since when is that a surprise?

well, there are different routines…the main thing is not to work ur primary and secondary muscle groups on the same day

mme-lin, i’ve never really liked running. football gave me a deep hatred for anything that involves your legs and tennis didnt do much to help

and thank you for your inspirational second comment…jerk

It keeps things interesting. I have nothing personal against you. It’s just that you’re an easy target! :)

Do a five day split in my opinion or four day.

5 day
D1 - Chest, D2 - Legs, D3 - Back, D4 - Rest, D5 - Arms, D6 - Shoulders, D7 - Rest

4 day
D1 - Back, D2 - Chest, Day 3 - Rest, Day 4 - Legs, Day 5 - Arms/Shoulders, Day 6 - Rest, Day 7 - Start all over again

Gives your body some time to rest plus you can avoid overtraining/burnout.

I do a five day usually.

I think we derailed this thread big time. Oh well.

I was trained as part of the school where you’re supposed to work complementary muscle groups together. Since when did that change?
