<p>I'm a junior taking HL math english psych and SL history chem mandarin B. I'm getting mostly 5's and 6's and 7's for math, on tests, mock exams, and regular assignments, just because the teachers at my school love to grade us -_-. so my grades add up to a 35 without EE/TOK.</p>

What should I be aiming for, for the tier 1/tier 2 schools?</p>

<p>I heard that at UC schools, you need at least a 30 to get IB credit. I could be wrong, though.</p>
<p>Colleges don't care about IB grades for admissions because the test is taken after graduation (except maybe the 1-2 SL tests taken after 11th grade). Aim for 6-7 on HL to receive college credit.</p>
