How are the ladies?

okay. so....i'm a girl. and honestly, walking around these past few days, i've seen a lotttt of pretty girls. (i like guys by the way..yeah. okay.) and me and my friends talked about how everyone was saying how berkeley has ugly girls. i'm not saying I'M pretty. but there are so many here. yeeah. don't know where you guys are looking at.

The thing is, a lot of pretty girls also seem really ditzy to me, so that's kind of a turn-off.

Just because a girl looks cute or whatever to one person, doesnt necessarily mean they will look cute to another person. Each one of us has our own preferences and we have different tastes, so to each their own. But i'm just saying that, there are girls at berkeley, its just that, they dont really suit the typical college-stereotyped girl.

what's the "typical college-stereotyped girl"?

i had no idea it was so fratty here at berkeley. my floor is full of stereotypical sorority girls. one of my roommate's screwed two of them in the past week.

wooo

edit: i won't argue that there are plenty of pretty girls here though. no berkeley goggles whatsoever.
might be self selection though - i won't know til classes start. i'm in eecs, and it could be that most of the other girls
are hiding in their rooms or whatever.

Don't we go to school to study, not socialize? :)

well now that I'm finally here, I can say... the girls here are certainly very californian.

the girls here are not as bad looking as people make them out to be...I think berkeley girls get a bad rep because most girls here are asian. ( totally not trying to bash on asian girls here) But since I've gotten here, I've noticed that Frat parties are not as exciting as I thought they would be...

Wow, karch, where are you living?

unit 2 cunningham hall, blah floor. :]

While Berkeley women are not drop-dead gorgeous, they are far better than the men, who often fall into one (or more) of the following categories: gay, taken, *******, or ugly.

But let's face it: people look pretty much the same no matter where you go. They may be more dolled up, outgoing, and better dressed, but underneath it all they're all just normal not-hot human beings. You can't complain about too many "average-looking" women because nearly everyone in the world is average-looking.

Oh. By the way. People here tend not to be fat. That's probably a natural consequence of the urban surroundings--- students walk more than drive.

Also, I can't believe this even needs to be said, but not everyone here is Christian. Berkeley is very...not diverse, but a lot of people have different ideas about religion.

karch - Cool, I'm in Cunningham as well. Javier is on my floor if you know who he is by word of mouth :)

wow, just when i thought i had left high school behind...

I wonder about how the gay guys look ^^;

the ones i've seen so far have made me disappointed.

about how they're gay, i mean. since i am a lady. (:

The gay guys actually look decent. Better than straight guys on average.

well there are a hella lot less gay guys than straight.

from what ive heard, the hottest people live in unit 1 putnam (floor 4)

Yeah, I heard the same thing. :)

pffft. i would have to cast my vote for cunningham floor 8.

(cough)

azure: i know javier, but not what floor he’s on.

the hottest person lives in stern 400

just sayin’
