<p>Hey pretty much, one of the big factors I look into when I'm choosing a college is its party scene mixed with the girls haha :P. Does Rutgers - New Brunswick have a really good party scene without grenades? :P. Since I will only be able to go out like once or twice a week because of MCAT studying, I want those parties to be fun as hell!!! SO out of experience, how are the girls + parties...Yea I know I sound like a ******, but I want my college experience to be amazing while at the same time keeping up grades :P. Thanks!</p>

<p>I’ll be completely honest with you, a lot of the parties suck. A mix of ******-bags, insane ratio’s, and a shortage of alcohol might leave you outside in the cold searching for somewhere to go on a Friday night. Unless you go out with a lot of girls or know the people throwing the party, you’ll probably have a tough time finding the type of thing you’re looking for.</p>
<p>Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of parties that fit the generic college frat party description and are pretty damn fun (especially at Skull house and some of the bigger venues) and there are plenty of good looking girls. I’ve just gotten pretty tired of it and tend to pick smaller, more casual get-togethers with closer friends.</p>
<p>Try Penn State, or something.</p>
<p>I know a lott of people who go/went there. I heard they’re pretty fun, and some of them can get CRAZY. I even know people from the county colleges who go to their parties.
Also, New Brunswick is not too far from NYC.</p>

<p>The impression I have gotten from my son and his friends are that most of the parties are lame. If you are a guy and want to get into a party there is the whole ratio thing. Not sure what determines how many girls you have to show up with, but if you are not very outgoing you will be left out in the cold. It made it hard when my son could come up with the ratio but some of his other guy friends couldn’t. Didn’t make the evening to fun, not to be able to party with your friends. If they would just charge a straight cover- admit fee for all who want to party it would be much better. Those throwing the parties would cover their costs and then some, if those hosting the party cant get girls to come to your events on there own then I think there is a serious problem with the guys that are hosting the parties. Maybe there is not as much swag in Jersey as some would have you believe!!!</p>

<p>but he’s totally right the ratios for all the frats are INSANE. i’ve seen more 6:1’s and 8:1’s than i can count. being a freshman dude sucks… especially if you live on busch where its about 70:30 guys 
some of the house parties just ask that you drop 5’s for a cover, and those are the ones i end up going to more… they’re also usually better. more often than not you will end up having a not so great night, but every once in a while the stars align and everything works out lol… you just have to hope for those nights :P</p>
