I really want to be an American history major - I currently have an A in the honors course and considering a career as a historian / history professor.
How are the following schools for history majors?
Vandy
UNC
UVA
UGA
USC (South Carolina)
Clemson
VA. Tech
WVU
UT - Austin...
Any feedback would be great on any of the schools,

<p>Can only speak to UNC-CH - excellent history department. Also, look into the "Peace, War, and Defense (PWAD) program - you could easily double major in Hist, PWAD, or PoliSci.</p>
