<p>Update time!</p>

<p>The assistant track coach at MIT just gave me a phone call. Nice guy, very friendly. It seems he and Coach Taylor will likely give me their recommendation, which is very good news. Despite athletics not having a very large impact on admissions, he said that of the 80-something runners he vied for last year, around half of them actually got accepted. I’ll take those odds any day ;).</p>

<p>They did an article about my team, and put a picture of me and the seven other seniors on the cover. We’re the second high school team to ever appear on the cover of this magazine (first boys’ team). I’ve yet to see it, but I can’t wait :D.</p>

<p>Wow, I’m so jealous. I run cross country, but not anywhere near that level.</p>

<p>Right now, my life is actually going pretty well. I like my classes and I get to hang out with all of my friends. Things have been really busy though. I have way more homework and cross country takes up time too. Other than that, everything is great.</p>
