No problem, OP, just avoid going over 1000 and the shorter prompt should not be fewer than 250
I’ve finished the general one with 546 words… now I’m waiting 'till thanksgiving weekend to do the “what major you choose” one LOL. I really want to get it done bad but schoolwork and other stuff are driving me crazy. I know several people finished it… like during the summer, and some didn’t even bother open an account to begin their application nor know what the prompts are, tho they constantly say: “I want to apply this year”

I’m “done” with mine but I feel like it can always be improved. Everytime someone looks at it theyll find some way to make it better. So youre never really done you just have to deliver on the due date haha… I divided the word count 480/520(prompt#1/prompt#2) There’s also that 550 word section- I was thinking of using that to write a creative piece like Peter Pan, in third person. What do you guys think?

Nah, haven’t started them. Don’t plan on spending too much time on them either. I’ll probably dedicate about an hour a day to them during thanksgiving break.

@Mikey: The additional comments section is not an extension of your prompts; you’re only supposed write in there if you have something important to mention that you couldn’t fit anywhere else.

Started on the application and one out of the two essays is done. I have no idea what to write for my prompt regarding why I picked my major, and what experiences I have with it because to be honest, beyond personal reading and academics I really don’t have a whole lot ofexperience with it -___-

I’m done with prompt #2 and I have 516 words for it, meaning prompt #1 will have approximately 484ish. First prompt is difficult for me as well.

I showed my second prompt response to some personal statement workshop mentor I have and he said it was perfect. The only thing he fixed were commas here and there, but it gave me an ego boost because it was my first draft. We’ll see how the first one goes, I guess.
