How are women's colleges for REAL lesbians/bisexuals?

I've heard a lot of stories about the LUG phenomenon at women's colleges, and it freaks me out! I don't mind that people want to explore their sexuality, but as a lesbian, I'm scared that I'll end up falling for girls at a women's college that are only dating me because there are no/few available men around. :-/

I feel like girls at coed schools that identify as lesbian or bisexual are almost always going to date a girl because they actually want to date her, while a lot of girls at a women's college only do it because there are no other options. How prevalent is that? Should this be a concern for me or am I just freaking out over nothing?

****P.S. I know there is a "women's college" sub-forum, but not many people visit it, and I thought I'd get more perspectives here. Thanks!

Obviously, your sexuality is much more real than theirs.

Yes, this happens at women’s colleges, but you won’t be immune from this phenomenon at coed schools, either (especially coed schools that are super gay-friendly). I don’t think this should be a factor in your college search.
