I know many people are using the ap calculus exam. i'm taking the calc bc exam tomorrow and i was hoping to get a 3 which gives me credit for math 231 and 232, but now i realize i will most likely not get a 3. also, ap exam scores won't be out when i go to orientation. i've decided to just take the sat math 2 on june 4 and just place out of pre-cal. plus the june sat scores should be out june 23, which is when i'm scheduled for orientation. i just wanted to see what people have done in the past about this and how it worked out.

My son is taking the AP statistics exam. He’s not confident in his score since it’s been a while since he took the class. He’s decided to take the online transfer course through our local community college.

Ditto andrew hahahah. I called the Math department and they said I dont need to take the SAT. I got a 36 on the ACT Math so I think that helps…

Andrew: how did you do on ACT or SAT I math? My son scored 770 on SAT I math and also took AP Calculus BC test today. When he called math dept they said he will probably place out and get the credit but his schedule may have to be adjusted after the AP scores are out. So no, he didn’t have to take SAT II.

I got a 590 on sat math, but i didn’t hear anything about placing out using the sat I. i took the calc bc exam today and i don’t think i did too well. i guess i’ll just take the sat math ii june 4…

I’m taking the SAT II Math this Saturday to place in my Math classes, wish me luck lol :)

A 5 on Calc BC gets me into multi-variable calculus or something like that, if I remember correctly. That sounds like fun, considering the fact that i got that score over a year ago and remember little to nothing about calculus. Probably just going to take something lower so as not to screw myself grade-wise so early in the game.
