How are you spending the last day before the SAT?

I think I'll squeeze in one last practice test and zone in on critical reading. I know people have said not to cram today, but I feel too anxious to just relax.

how are you spending today?

Going over some vocab and essay examples!

I’m going to do a grammar, math, and reading section. Then review History and etc. for essay prompts. Gonna go out with friends to see Gravity tonight. Then bed. Hopefully by 10pm.

Same as 20Summer08. Going over vocab flashcards, looking up stuff to be used for essay examples, probably review my practice tests from the blue book

Focusing mostly on math to make sure I don’t make dumb mistakes.

CR is fine, I’m a habitual reader who eats books (You don’t need to memorize vocab if you can utilize context VERY well).

I don’t really care much about writing tbh because it’s not looked at by the college I want to go to, but I do have many personal experiences that I can draw from.

Just relaxing/not stressing out

Crying, ice cream, trying not to throw up from eating too much ice cream…
No, but really I’m kind of nervous. This is my second (and last) time taking the SAT, and I’m more nervous this time to be completely honest. At least the first time around you don’t have to worry about improving from a previous score - it’s more “test run mode.” The second time, though, you have a bar set for yourself and I don’t know about anyone else, but I personally feel like if I don’t do better, then I’ve failed.

So, short answer, I’m spending tonight freaking out and trying to concentrate my studying in the areas I did worse in last time.

Studying all my math formulas and previously written essays. Critical Reading wasl sadly left to my instinct. I went to be at 10:00pm and tried hard to fall asleep. I actually didn’t fall asleep until past midnight however. Then, I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall asleep for another 30 minutes. I still did well though! So I think.
