How are your June SAT grades?

2380: 800 CR, 780 M, 800 W (11 essay–wow, how did that happen?)

I’m happy :> Especially since I think this is the highest in my school, at least until a certain other student takes it again to reclaim his Star Student status, haha. If he can get a 2390 or 2400 single-sitting, though, I’d be happy to cede it to him.

How do I see what I got on the essay?

2360–> soooo happy
800 CR
780 math
780 Writing

but wow congrats to you haavain, you have the highest score on here right now haha nice job

Nevermind, I’ve been looking at scores thru my organizer rather than getting them off the collegeboard homepage.

2300 :D

800 math
720 CR
780 writing

still cant view my essay grrrr,
but was aiming for a 2200, got a 2300,
so my advice?
shoot for the stars

CR- 690 (still kinda fail lol. up from 670)
M- 800 (waaaay up from 670)
W- 730 (up from 710)
2220 woot!

reading-680
math-720
writing-660
2060
So I improved by 190 since March that score is good enough for me I was actually really happy with it. Though I know most people here would hate it. I doubt I’ll go for another 4hrs of hell, I’m content with my score.

2140

740M
740CR
660W

So this is what not being in the U.S does to your grammar and writing skills…

I’m not happy… :frowning: lol

CR- 670
M- 680
W- 720

I raised my score 70 points from a 2000 to a 2070… which I guess I should be happy about because there was zero studying involved, but I have to start studying and pull my scores up. Luckily my ACT was marginally better.

CR: 610
Math: 680
Writing: 690 (YAY!!! FINALLY!!)

Finally broke 2000 superscored…

2380!

Cr: 800
m: 780
w: 800

Same exact score, same exact breakdown. SWEET!

2360:

CR - 800
Math - 800
Writing - 760

I am very happy with the score, given that English is not my native language, and I have heard (informally) that colleges do not consider the writing section as seriously as the other two sections (if you could confirm/deny this fact, I would be very grateful). Congrats to everyone here!

It largely depends on the college. For example, UChicago completely ignores the writing section while Carnegie Mellon will use it for placement. Use College Board’s College Search feature to figure out whether writing is important to the schools you’re applying to. Nonetheless, 1600 (CR+M) is very, very impressive and will resonate strongly with admissions officers (especially those who are still somewhat in the pre-2005 mindset of no writing section on the SAT). Congratulations!

I went up 300 points between my two SATs this year. I went from an 1810 to a 2110 without like any prep. I am soooooooooooo happy. I was expecting around 2000.

First Scores(Oct):
Math- 590
Critical Reading- 600
Writing- 620(8 essay)

Predicted Scores(June):
Math:650
Critical Reading: 650
Writing: 700(10 essay)

Actual Scores(June):
Math: 670
Critical Reading: 680
Writing: 760(12 essay)

Sooo, I am very pleased. Hello 2nd tier!

I really hate how the SAT is 2/3 english and 1/3 math!

I got:
Math: 800
Writing: 750 (I had to work really hard to bring it up to this from 570 i got freshman year).
Reading: 670 (I think I almost fell asleep while taking some of the reading sections).

I find the math to be terribly easy, and really struggle with the English (it seems a lot of people are just the opposite).

kind of a weird question but does anyone know if colleges weigh the essay more than the mc in the writing section? cause I got a 9 essay and a 79 scaled mc which turned out as a 780 but I don’t know if colleges will regard the essay as more important.

CR: 800 (up from 750)
M: 800 (up from 690)
W: 740 (up from 710)

2nd time, first time was made of fail. I don’t think I’ll be going for a 3rd.

2150 –> 2340 … nice.

2100 –> 2170
CR 700 (Went down 10 pts. but it is always hard for me)
M 780 (Went up 40 pts. but I was expecting 800 1 silly mistake )
W 690 (10/66) (Went up 40 pts. I can improve)

This was 2nd time, I will definitely take again in October

I HATE (2/3) English (1/3) Math breakdown
