Hey Guys,
So, as of now, my junior year is closing in. For Freshman year I got one B(in Honors Physics, although most of the classes at school are at honors level), 2 Bs Sophomore year(Honors Precalc and AP Physics), and am about to reach 3 Bs to a B+ on Junior Year(AP Physics II, Honors Calc and Chem). How bad do my chances get in terms of these Bs? All my other grades are A to an A+(such as AP Gov and AP Lang. Also, if it is ever important in the discussion, I am taking more of the rigorous side of my high school curriculum, if that matters
What does your own guidance counselor say about this? That person knows where students from your high schoo, who had grades and test scores like yours have been accepted in recent years.
I agree with @happymomof1. It depends on the school. But my guess is that there are kids who did well in these classes. Snice you are now thinking about colleges, think about what your grades say about what kind of place would be a good fit.
It looks like you embrace challenge. It looks like math and science are doable but not your strongest suit. There are plenty of schools and programs that could be a fit. You need to figure out what you want and what is affordable.
