I withdrew from organic chemistry (semester) 2nd semester of junior year. Will that be negatively viewed by colleges? I was not failing or anything, but I felt that I needed more time to focus on my 4 AP classes. Thanks for the help.

I W'ed a French Class last year because my teacher was a total b**tch, and I did fine for college admissions as an International student. I didn't put down any reason for it on my applications, because I figured colleges aren't really looking for excuses and if you dropped something, you did it for a reason.

When colleges see all the other great grades you have earned, there's little reason for them to dwell on the W. Just don't worry about it, and work hard in your classes. Good luck man.

they have organic chem in high school? wow.

i did the exact same thing as you, OP (with a different class obviously, but same situation). for my college apps, I explained the "W" in the additional info section of the common app and wrote why i dropped the class and made it clear that i wasnt failing when i withdrew. i think explaining it on your application is pretty important...just so that colleges dont think the worst of it. i got into my ED school no problem, so i dont think it was that big a deal.
