How bad does an F look for the midyear senior grades?

<p>I've applied to...not super prestigious places, I think (Seattle U, Hofstra, St. John's, SFSU, DePaul). So do you think they'd rescind my acceptance based on that F? </p>

<p>The F's in pre-calc, and I'm dropping down to Business Math next semester for...obvious reasons, but if I can't raise my 58 to a 60, then how screwed am I? :(.</p>

<p>If your straight A/B transcript only has one lower grade (and that is the F), they might inquire you about that, but it’s unlikely that any of those schools would rescind your application based solely on that.</p>
