<p>So this class i'm taking is the hardest class i've ever taken in my life. Plus, its a summer class. How bad does a dropped class look on my transcript when I apply for law school? (i am currently a raising junior at emory university). A dropped class during summer :((, it sounds so sad to me.</p>
<p>I have never dropped a class in college before, this will be my first.</p>
<p>I think the overall consensus has been that dropping a class isn’t bad, dropping several throughout college is.</p>
<p>I really don’t think it would ever affect you unless you took 10 years to do college because you dropped 3 classes every semester, or something like that.</p>
<p>Or if your school has punitive withdraws. With these, listed on your transcript as WF or indicated in some other way as being punitive, the courses will count into your LSAC GPA as an F, which could really hurt your GPA.</p>
<p>You should contact your advisor to ask if W’s at your school are punitive or not.</p>
