I messed up my freshman year of undergrad college and I made up for it by taking a whole lot of easy blow-off courses to boost my GPA?

How are they going to know that they are blow-off classes?

Grad programs will be able to tell how substantial your program-related coursework is. As long as that is solid, I don’t think they care if your unrelated electives are wellness 101 or history 347.

There’s also a good chance that your freshman year grades might get ignored completely. Many graduate programs will focus on your major GPA or your GPA for the most recent 60 credits.

Thanks, that does make me feel a bit better for taking a bunch of easy electives. My GPA is pretty high for the last two years.

What is “The Mythical Beast”??

It’s an old username that I chose when I signed up back in 2006. Even I don’t know what it means.
