I was just wondering, because I did pretty badly on one of my tests this year (Latin...got a 2). All of my other AP scores are 5s though. Should I just not send this Latin score, and how bad would that look? I ended up with an A- in the class, but just didn't do very well on the AP test (I don't think I studied enough).

Any advice? I'm looking at some top schools (Duke, UVA, Stanford). Thanks!

Send it anyway. Just shows you’re you. If you don’t send it, then they’ll wonder what else you’re hiding from them, since they know you took the test. Since your transcript already shows you took the course, they’d be disappointed and left to wonder why the test scores are missing. One question: how was your Latin grade. I hope it wasn’t so good either.,

Can’t you cancel the AP score?

I don’t think you actually have to send in an official score
report when you are just applying. There is space on the
app to put AP scores but I think thats optional.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t send your AP scores or if you withhold one. AP scores are not used for admission purposes. Once you are accepted then you will want to send your high scores to get credit for the classes.
