<p>I have received mostly A’s and have been in many AP and honor classes. However, during my junior year, I got sick and had to drop AP Physics.
First semester I had a B, and then I dropped it to advanced physics and got an A. How badly will this affect my admissions to the UC’s, such as UCLA?</p>

<p>Dude... this past year I was sick for two months during the first semester. This sickness continued into the second semester, forcing me to drop all of my APs (4 of them). I, along with my counselor and teachers, wrote letters explaining my situation to all the colleges I applied to. It didn't affect my admissions at all, and I doubt your dropping of AP Physics will either.</p>

<p>I applied to all the UCs minus Riverside/Merced, plus Cal Poly SLO, Stanford, and USC. Also applied to Cal Poly Pomona and SF State as absolute backups because my mom was freaking out about my sickness.</p>
