<p>hope so..we have tons of national merit semi-finalists and finalists ..probably have the most in texas..</p>
<p>Your school is doing you a diservice by giving out class rank. At a competitive hs it is unecessary because you are all high caliber students.</p>

<p>I understand--and that's my point, if it is competitive why should they rank? If a kid is like in the 88th per centile they might be top 10 per cent in a public hs. THis hurts applicants from your hs when applying to college.</p>
