I received my Math IIC score yesterday, and I got a 690 :/ I took only one other SAT II, Literature, and I got a 760 in that.

I am applying to several selective colleges which require two SAT IIs. I am kinda worried about sending the Math IIC score now. Overall, I am trong academically - 2300 SAT, been top of my class throughout (I'm international, btw), and Math is actually one of my best subjects in school and my transcript shows very high Math grades. So will my Math II score reflect poorly on me?

Unless you’re applying to MIT or CalTech, it’s probably fine. Even then, if your SAT I math score was high enough, they’ll probably just assume your calculator batteries died or you had an off day.

I am applying to liberal artsy colleges and am planning to major in Eng Lit. Will that mitigate the impact of the score? Also, my SAT I Math score is 710. I am just not that good at the kind of speedy math that standardized tests require :/
