<p>I get 2-3 B's first semester of junior year but then get a 4.0 second semester? And have basically a 4.0 throughout the rest of HS and a 2370 SAT? :/ In the eyes of top tier admission officers...</p>

<p>I think it’s pretty across-the-board that people do better second semester than first semester. I wouldn’t consider it a bad thing as long as your final GPA is still high.
Make sure this year’s first semester grades are good though.</p>
