How bad is it to have a grammar error on your essay?

So I looked back at my UC application and I noticed that I accidentally capitalized Chemistry in a sentence on my personal statement when I said "I want to study Chemistry." I believe it's only capitalized if I'm referring to a class or course.

It keeps bothering me. Am I overreacting? Will the UC essay readers overlook this error?

It’s not really a big deal to be honest with you.

Haha, yeah. Hopefully, I don’t get a reader who is crazy on grammar D: . I read that UCs have stated that personal statements aren’t graded on grammar, although they say grammar will help the “flow and readability” of the essay.
