How much will colleges look down on you for it, if at all? I'm considering taking it a 4th time in December to try to bring up my math score. I really want to hit that 2300, even if it's superscored.

My current scores are (single sitting, third try):

CR - 760
M - 720
W - 800

I'm pretty happy with my current score, it's just that I can bring myself up to a 2300/1500 if I can just bring math up by 20 points...

and i asked my college counselor about taking the SAT multiple times, and she says that it just starts to be a waste of money and time the more times you take it and colleges aren't going to accept or deny you based on how many times you've taken an SAT

teenage__cliche is right. However, since this is a matter of personal pride I say go for it. BTW when I was at Chapel Hill I asked the admission counselor if they frown upon taking the SAT over three times. He said, "no, take it as many times as you wish." Why? Because UNC - CH (and probably most colleges) will take your superscore.
