<p>Bad because a) If you haven't completed it by the time you send in your application, the colleges you're applying to won't know about it and because b) It looks like resume padding or procrastination.</p>
<p>Do you have a community service requirement for graduation? If you do, make your life easier and try to at least START your community service this summer.</p>
