How bad is the Literature Subject Test in comparison to the SAT's CR section?

I'm taking it May 3rd, and I'm starting to freak out :P
I got a 770 on the SAT's CR section... but the Subject Test seems significantly harder. Were your scores close? Did you prep a lot?
I'm using Barron's book, so if there are any sections that you think I should focus on, let me know!

Bump! Help me out, please!

I got 790 on the CR section of the SAT and 780 on the Literature Subject Test.
I didn’t know I was taking it until the day of the test (the Subject Tests are all in one book and you can pick whichever ones you want), so I didn’t prepare at all. I did take AP Lit, so that probably helped.

I received the same score on both - I found the Literature one to be harder, only because it was more condensed and time intensive (despite them both being timed - I often finished CR sections with time to spare - the same wasn’t true for Lit II) - but for someone who scored particularly well on the CR section, Lit shouldn’t pose any problems.

I found Lit much harder even though I received a higher score on it. I did better by 40 points.

Thanks, guys. Hopefully it’ll go okay

I got 800 on CR and 780 on lit. They were very different in some ways- CR was more reading comp, vocab, some logic and inference, while lit was definitely more focused on literary techniques. Just review the concepts from high school lit- both prose and poetry- and if you’re passably familiar you should do fine. Otherwise, some of the same skills definitely apply to both, so if you’re happy with your CR scores you probably have the chops to do well on lit too :). Good luck!

I found lit a bit harder – it’s more comparable to AP Literature in that it focuses more on technique and, to some extent, analysis. Still, if you did well on one, it’s hard to imagine you doing poorly on the other.

I got an 800 on CR and 790 on Literature, for the record.
