<p>ok so im considering joining a latin sorority at uc berkeley either lambda theta alpha or sigma Pi alpha. hazing is to be expected but i dont want to end up in a position where I'm being physically abused or doing something where my health is in danger, my question is; is the hazing that extreme? or is it difficult but achievable? I'm willing to work for it but im not going to endanger myself for it</p>
<p>anyone who submits to hazing is a follower ( I am putting it in a nice way) be yourself, do not join a cult, a gang or a sorority! go to college , expose yourself to as many types of people, do not lock yourself into a group for the insecure. do you need to have a t shirt with greek letters on it to feel good about who you are?</p>
<p>Lol… try it for yourself and see it. If X amount of people can do it, so can you, that’s what I say. Don’t listen to people who are against Greek Life, just do whatever YOU feel like doing, after all, it’s YOUR college experience. </p>
<p>Honestly, I don’t think hazing in California is that bad compared to the Mid-West & the East Coast. IDK about the South.</p>
