<p>How bad is it if you have this persona that you're going to be such and such major (by the info you give/way you set it up), but really want another major (that you'll probably transfer into later)?</p>
<p>I don't think colleges expect anyone to have picked a major by the time they enter; there's so much you're not actually exposed to until you're in college that it's hard to make that decision.</p>
<p>As long as the major you really want isn't an acting/dance/etc. performing major where many schools require you to enter into that particular program, you should be ok. Even those though you could probably switch into if you worked at it.</p>
