How bad will a B look after getting all A's?

I've gotten ALL A's (A+s, As, and A-s) ever since the start of my high school career. I'm getting a B in my environmental science class. I've been doing all I can to raise it but I just can't seem to do well on the tests! There isn't much time left and I'm starting to lose hope that I'm not going to be able to raise it.

Will one B look bad?

I plan on applying to
NYU, BOSTON UNIVERSITY, NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY, CUNY HUNTER, LOYOLA CHICAGO, DEPAUL UNIVERISTY, FORDHAM, IU, PACE UNIVERSITY, AND THE NEW SCHOOL.

not at all

Dude. You’ll be fine.

you should take more challenging classes then

dont worry, just make sure that’s the only one.

and ya know, its just one B, no biggie.

and i agree with MIT <3

Increase the rigor of you’re classes, so that B seems to disappear because a college will see your transcript and think ,“hey! that B doesn’t matter cuz of the all the HARD CLASSES this kid is taking”

get ready for community college man

I’m wondering how you managed make all A’s but then make a B in enviro sci of all classes. I don’t know if this is true at your school but at my school ES AP is one of the easiest AP classes to take

Just from your scores, all A, one B, you would try IVY, don’t underestimate yourself :-)

Yeah Env. Science isn’t really that HARD, its just the tests that I do bad on. It’s notes, notes, notes, a few labs here and there, and then the tests are based on the whole unit, which is like 4 or 5 chapters.

Anyway, I got a B on my test (mostly everyone got Cs and Ds) and my teacher hasn’t added in the extra credit i have received so i might be in luck!

THANK you everyone
