hey guys,
so i just finished sophomore year and ended up with a B in AP US :( so now my overall UW GPA is a 3.84(since I got a B in AP Bio last year). If I get straight A's next year(which I can, since I picked classes I am stronger in and the teachers are easier from what I hear), I'll have an UW GPA of 3.89. Keep in mind that my WGPA will be around a 4.70 and that I have taken the most difficult courseload possible(including a several class skips). My school doesnt rank, but I'm definitely in the top 5%. My school is a competitive public school.
Will this GPA hurt my chances of getting into yale? I know it won't kick me out of the running, but how badly will they look upon this?
Thanks for any input

Your grades (and apparently your course load) will be good enough. Assuming your standardized test scores are good enough, a lot will depend on your teacher recommendations and your essays. Also, if you happen to be an Olympic rower, a movie star, a Kennedy, or one of the best high-school linebackers in Texas, that would help, too.
