Hi everyone, I'm a freshman in college, and I've already been documented twice. A few weeks ago I got a noise violation, and the second time(today) i got documented for throwing an apple against a wall(my friend and i wanted to see if they exploded). At best the second documentation will be a student misconduct or something like that, at worst it will be considered a malicious act that could cause bodily harm/death to another person or serious damage/vandalism to a building. I do not drink very much, and dont smoke pot, so i dont have to worry about alchohol/drug possession.

Does this type of stuff look bad on an application to med school? I know GPA, MCATS, and extra curricular are important, I just want to know if this looks really bad :/

I don’t think this stuff will be reported to AMCAS.

Yeah, if it’s just like a problem with ResLife or something, then it won’t go to AMCAS. AMCAS will ask you if you’ve gotten into any legal trouble other than minor traffic violations (ie, have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor?) and if you’ve had any actions taken against you by your university. As long as these things don’t come with suspension etc, you should be fine! (Just my opinion, but it seems like they’re kinda freaking out about this apple thing…lol)

Um, just out of curiousity, what else did you think would happen to them?

^^^ I guess the op was wasted/high…my friends have done the same thing under the influence.

They might just flatten, like Wile E. Coyote?!?
