How bad would a B in Ap calculus look

I am way in over my head in Ap calculus AB. I did terribly on my first test but thanks to hw and quizzes I have an 85 in the class (the lowest possible B). How bad would this B look for top colleges such as the ivies and Stanford?

An 85 is the lowest possible B? A 79.5 is the lowestB one can earn at my school…

Regardless, I’m sure 1 B in a very difficult AP class won’t cost you an acceptance.

At my school our grading scale is
A (93-100)
B (85-92)
C (77-84)
D (70-76)
F under 70

I wouldn’t worry too much about it! AP calculus is considered as one of the more difficult aps. Just make sure to improve later on in the school year  Hope I helped!

Oh wow that’s weird. (Mine is 89.5-100 for an A, 89.4-79.5 is a B, 79.4-69.5 is a C, 69.4-59.5 is a D)

1Rachel…I would kill for a grading system like that!

For us, it
s pretty much like Tennischick
s, but our lowest A:94. Lowest B:86, and so on.

Better than my C in Calc BC…

Get a 5 on your AP exam

I actually feel sadness that you guys stress yourself over one B.

Really depends on the rest of your application and GPA.

A B is all right. But this is the beginning of the year and if you find yourself having trouble, you may to try a tutor or Kahn Academy. It’s only going to get more challenging, so commit to it.
