how bad would it be for me to drop physics right now?

im a comp game sci major applied to ucsc/uci/ucd/ucsd. It also my last requirement for igetc. I think im okay for ucsc/uci , but i think physics is part of the core for ucd and ucsd so i think it will be a hit to my chances. My current courses are Discrete math/ calc 2/ physics mechanics. This will be with out a W. I just feel overwhelmed by an addition of a lab and material on top of my 2 other classes.

You would really have to call them each and talk to them about it. I don’t think it’d be a good thing however to drop it. Now, if you were taking Art as an elective like I did for fun when you have all the prerequisites for everything else, I don’t think they would care if you dropped that. But yeah, I think you should find a way to tough it out. But definitely check with each university. It’s really the only way to kind of know.

I just checked assist ucsc its a graduation. Requirement and not admission. UCI, I don’t need it looks like… It a bummer I won’t have igetc if i drop it. Would I just report it as not getting into the class? I won’t be have a w, and won’t show up on transcript
