<p>Rescinded at a typical, middle of the road type school - not your Harvards, Yales, or Princetons. </p>
<p>My Gov teacher says that three or four seniors always get their admissions rescinded every year at our school. </p>
<p>I don’t know the answer to your question but the reasoning behind keeping your grades up is so that if you want to transfer in college, you can do so more easily–especially after freshman year. </p>
<p>Probably 1.5-2.0 range. 3.0 is fine. If we’re talking average school (1500 SAT range) a 2.5 would likely suffice. Depends on the school and how their admissions work. I’d think schedule has something to do with it as well. A 2.0 in 6 APs is different from a 2.0 in 2 gym classes, 2 aid periods, and a general English class.</p>
<p>i got a D in english and an F in my AP chemistry prep class that was kind of counted as an extension of AP chemistry so as to be class credit, and i was rescinded. it wasn’t an average school (like the one im going to now) but it wasn’t selective either. </p>

<p>yeah i failed out of that “state school”. i was going to it but now im not, so im not really in college anymore, but im still in the habit of pretending i am because im not really ready to accept it yet. i need some time.</p>

<p>the D and the F were in the third trimester. we had a trimester schedule which confuses it a bit. the colleges knew my grades from the first one and (maybe?) the second one, but definitely not the third one. and the third one was the one with the failing grades. but the second one wasn’t much better, it had at least two C’s in it.</p>

<p>yeah you pretty much have it right. but i have plans for my life okay, im going somewhere! want to know where im going? TO THE SLUMS. im going to go live in the slums and have my mom support me (which won’t be very expensive, only a few hundred dollars a month, because its the slums). because all one needs is the internet. that’s all one needs. with that i’ll be happy in the slums. not everyone is convinced but its my own life! and im going to live it how i want, im going to live it out in the slums and you can’t stop me! but i don’t say that to my mom because i want her to support me, but its how i feel.</p>
