How badly does 1 'C' hurt

I know I should be fine, but I am still freaking out about likely getting a 'C' for the year in Online AP Calculus BC as a junior. I have straight A's in every class besides this one, and should have a 4.38 weighted and a 3.93 unweighted GPA and based on the PSAT I should get around a 1450 on my SAT.

I should be about 6/112 for class rank (top 6% in an exceptional graduating class-I would be valedictorian in any other year) and have 2 varsity sports, captain in quiz bowl, 2 years of leadership in band, boy scouts, and jobs during 2 summers.

My #1 choice is UVA (in-state) but I am afraid that they will look at everything, see that 'c', and reject my application. I just need someone to tell me that I am worrying about absolutely nothing.

Is this online course affiliated with your school? If it isn’t, I would advise you to not tell your school about it, or any colleges you apply to. Pretend it never happened, and you will be absolutely fine.

It is through the school since they do not offer it (took AP Calc AB with a teacher and got an A as a sophomore). The state runs an online class program for small schools like us who can’t afford a full spectrum of classes.

Bumpity bump
