Long story short, the class has been nothing short of a headache. I know most people like to blame the professors but it is pretty much my fault, I shall admit. I am in my first year of CC taking undergrad classes and currently have a C (77%, so C+?) in Sociology with the final tomorrow. With a 100 on the final I can bring that up to a B-, or with a poor grade (0%) down at most to a 62, which is not an option at all. My ideal dream transfer school is UCSD as a Biology or BioChemistry major, but am really open to any transfer to a decent 4 year in California. So… With completely brutal honesty, how does this affect my transfer chances to any UC/CSU? I’m really stressing about this, because it’s my future… Any advice/opinions are definitely welcome! Thanks.
Your overall GPA is what matters. Just see if you’re above or below average as far as your GPA goes.

That will tell you the GPA for each major at all the UCs. GPA and required courses are the most significant aspects of transferring to a UC. UCSD doesn’t participate in TAG anymore so, be sure to file one with another school. Davis or Irvine would be good targets.
