How badly will this affect me?

I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm taking honors courses (GATE, AP, etc). I have solid B's in my academic courses and some A's but I'm failing Physical Education. I'm in my second semester and I have an F because I'm ditching that course for personal (but stupid and irrational) reasons.

How badly will this affect me when I'm applying to colleges?

More than you think. It’s an F either way.

Better be prepared to spend a lot of time explaining it, or retake it or its equivalent somewhere else(summer course at a community college?)and get an A…

wow, how do you fail physical education? thats going to bring you down a HELL of a lot of points dude. its a non-honors class and you got the lowest possible grade.

My school doesn’t calculate physical education into its GPA. They just require 4 semesters of it. But I guess I’ll try doing it now.

nah if it doesnt go into your gpa just dont do it

Colleges are typically empathic to wimps.
