<p>I received mail from the College of Engineering for these two programs, and was wondering if they are necessary to get involved with as apposed to taking classes apart from them.</p>
<p>From what I can tell they are not very beneficial nor are needed as a gateway to involvement. I am an entering freshman; after researching the programs I chose to refrain from them and instead take some regular classes over Summer B.</p>
<p>What is the difference between taking EFTP classes from regular classes?</p>
<p>I believe EFTP is a special program of classes that give their own credits.</p>
