<p>Drinking and party scene at Vassar? Can one find most students on the weekends drinking alot, studying, or doing other things?</p>
<p>More importantly, is there a balance? Or is there a portion of students who do not drink heavily versus a portion who do?</p>
<p>Just how is the party/drinking scene at Vassar in general??</p>

<p>From what I've seen in my one month here, you can really find both. I'm more of a party type, but there are people in my hall that never party and still seem to really enjoy themselves. And there's always the fun of going to parties sober and laughing at all the drunk people... really, there's something for everyone on the weekends. There are always improv shows or movie screenings or some theme dance or another.</p>
<p>I agree with dc89 100%. As someone who doesn't drink, I still find plenty to do on the Vassar campus. There's movies, school-sponsered parties, a shuttle to the mall, as well as a surprisingly large amount of people on campus who don't drink. At the same time, however, if you are interested in drinking, there's plenty of options for that too, and at different levels. Taking my hall as a case study, for example, there are four people who don't drink, three who drink a bit every so often, and two who are out drinking every weekend. Basically, you can find whatever you're looking for.</p>
