How big of a reach?

Ok, well I know that ND is a reach for me, but do I have any chance at all there based upon my stats?

GPA: 4.25 (w) 4.0 (un weighted)
SAT: CR: 700 W: 750 M: 770
Ranked First in class

Schedule: taking all the APs offered in school and self studied 4 more

Cancer Society (100 hours)

I think you have a good shot. ND is a reach for everyone basically, but your stats are strong and your ECs look impressive. I think it could work out! Good luck!

Unless there's something you're hiding....it seems likely.

It looks like you have a resume which is as impressive as mine if not more so and I was admitted EA this year. So yeah, I think you'll get in.

4.0, 2220 SAT, ranked first in class, pretty good EC's

Yeah, I'd say no shot at all. Don't even bother applying, SAT is way too low, same for GPA.

/sarcasm

I'd be surprised and screwed myself if you don't get in, but it could happen.

The fact you think it's a reach school with the resume you have is a serious question of intelligence...

Not necessarily indicative of a lack of intelligence; could just be he doesn't quite know how competitive the school is (or isn't, depending on how you see it). There are schools that would be reaches even for him, but I think we can agree ND isn't one of them.

I don't think it means they are lacking intelligence, people just don't think they'll get in because they don't know how competitive or tough a school is tough to get into.

Looking at GPA, SATs and Rank....you are academically qualified for any college in the country. The fact that your ECs are weak may hurt you at some schools...but, again, ND is not a reach for you.

Hey guys, I appreciate all the feedback.

I got in Early Admit with stats very similar to yours. 35 ACT and a 4.67 weighted GPA, but thats just because my school offers more APs I think. Pretty sure you have a very good shot.

hey, i think you have a good shot. where do you live though? ND is a lot easier to get into if you dont live in the midwest, i heard. i was wondering if you could chance me also :)
