How big of an impact does an alumni interview have on admissions?

wondering if i should do it or not

If you can do it, go for it. If not, don’t. It shows your interest and is mostly a way for you to find out more about the school.

To those who have done this before:

How exactly do you go about requesting an off-campus interview? Do I need to set up a specific time/place or will I be contacted with an offer if there is an alumni available from my area? Also, does anyone know if there are interviews available in the Northeast Ohio area (specifically the Greater Cleveland Area).

Call the admissions office to arrange one…and I’m sure there’s people in Cleveland.
You can also interview on-campus if you ever come to visit.

Not sure about what marcdvl said, as I emailed the alumni association a week or two ago and they specifically stated the following: “Since you have already submitted the required items you do not need to take any further action to be included in our interview process. If interviews are planned for your area, we will have one of our volunteers contact you to schedule an appointment.”

By the way, those “required items” are the pre-application data sheet and the $55 application fee. However, if you do call and are able to set up an interview, please let me know.
