<p>Did you show interest when you made your first application? It sounds like if you did, they send you a link.</p>

<p>S has submitted the Honors application, our question is…once the 12/15/11 deadline has passed, do notifications occur as they are processed or do all notifications go out on 3/1/12 (notify by date)? Also, for housing, does he need to add honors housing to his dorm preferences or leave them as they are (3 commons dorms) since Honors housing is a requirement of acceptance anyway?</p>

<p>Aggiemom: FWIW my S completed his dorm request well before he submitted the honors ap. It would seem that since there is no guarantee of honors admission, and since the honors dorm is a requirement it would be in the students best interest not to include it on the application so they can request the choices they want if they don’t get into the program. That is just my take on it. We didn’t research this.</p>
