How can I change my avatar?

How do I change my profile picture?

To change your avatar:

1. Click on the circle with your first initial (or your existing pic) in the upper right corner to reveal a menu.
2. Click on the little person icon
3. Click on Preferences
   You should arrive at this page:
   
   
4. Click on the little pencil under Profile Picture

You may not have seen it before because we had to change a setting to enable it for everyone. You should see it now. Feel free to reply if you have any issues!

Found that But avatar is not the picture I used, just a letter. When try to hit upload a photo nothing happens. Looks like some users avatars came back.

It didn’t work for me earlier this morning but I went back and tried again, and then it did. Maybe the bug was fixed.

I just changed my avatar, but it didn’t work initially. It told me my jpeg was not a jpeg, or other acceptable format. ?? So I resized my photo into a smaller square shape, then tried to upload and it worked right away.
